Current Design Trends – Kitchen and Master Bathroom Edition

Trends, trends, trends. They are the very subject that seems to be ever-changing and completely unpredictable. Our design team is often asked questions like “What is trending now?” or “What will be trending in the future?” and sometimes even, “What was trending that isn’t trending anymore?”

While all of these questions are relevant, and valuable to any new homeowner, I challenge you to ask yourself, “How can I choose trends in my home while still allowing my home to feel uniquely designed to fit my lifestyle?” This week we are discussing the most popular trends in the kitchen and the master bathroom.

The center point of any home is indefinitely the kitchen. I would bet that most of us spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen whether we are grabbing a quick snack, entertaining a large group of guests, or groggily drinking our morning cup of joe. From the cabinets, down to the little details, your kitchen is the focal point (and maybe even the unspoken meeting ground) of your home and should be treated as such in its design.

Our Marketing Assistant Krissy is always brimming with new ideas, and has a passion for writing in every way. Using her voice behind our blog and social media platforms, Krissy is passionate about creating meaningful content whenever she can.

Cabinets that stretch to the ceiling are a great way to extend the visual height of your kitchen while significantly increasing the magnitude of storage space in your kitchen. The higher cabinets lend themselves wonderfully to store those unique pieces that you may not need access to as often. Pop frosted glass into the center panels of these upper cabinets with a small light inside of the cabinet to add ambient lighting in your kitchen.

We’ve also made changes that streamline common workflows. Previously, viewing and updating settings for your connected accounts was a relatively cumbersome process.
